The Big Draw
In 2019 my project My Book, My Voice is part of The Big Draw, with workshops in Greece, Norway, Kenya and Uganda.
"The Big Draw is a visual literacy charity that promotes the universal language of drawing as a tool for learning, expression and invention. The charity leads a diverse programme of advocacy, empowerment and engagement, and is the founder and driving force behind The Big Draw Festival – the world’s biggest celebration of drawing. In 2019 The Big Draw Festival theme 'Drawn to Life' focuses on the vital role of creativity for health and wellbeing. As 'social prescribing' gains greater recognition as an effective tool for living a healthier and happier life; creating opportunities for accessible, fun, creative events has become more important than ever."
